LNS Fire & Security wants this website to be usable for as many people as possible, whatever their abilities.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means good colour contrast, text that resizes without breaking the layout, keyboard access to everything you can do with a mouse, and clear labelling for screen readers.
What we have done
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA for text and interactive controls
- Full keyboard access, with a visible focus outline
- Semantic headings, labels and landmarks for screen readers
- Respect for a reduced-motion preference
- A responsive layout that works on small screens and when text is enlarged
